Update:)

Almost a year later I have decided to us this blog to record my progress. As of this time the only thing that I have accomplished is that I have made a pair of socks. However I have made progress in becoming a nurse by crossing the first big hurdle of getting accepted to nursing school. I will be starting classes this August. As far as running goes I am working on that daily, six days out of seven I am running on the treadmill, and everyday I do more running that walking.By the end of the summer I hope to finish a 5k in less that 30 minutes.
I have one more goal to add to the list, and that is to loose 40 pounds by January the 1st. At this time I will start training to run a half marathon in March. I feel for me to be able to reach this goal I need to be at an optimal weight, which would require the loss of at least 40 pounds.

Today's workout
30:00 min
2.0 miles
4.1 avg pace

Happy Running

I think I Can:)

This is my story and I am sticking to it:)

They say that fifty is over the hill, but for me it has been the beginning.Fifty is how hold I was when I started running. Fifty-one is how old I was when I lost my job and started going to school to become a nurse.I am along way from becoming a good runner, even longer way from becoming a nurse, and that is what this blog is about. This is where I will record my progress and tell about my journey.
